The University of the Saarland (USAAR) will define guide and validate ‘transatlantic’ clinical scenarios all the way to the integration of TUMOR environment. USAAR assists the development of an integrated EU cancer model/data repository and give clinical insight to the dissemination and exploitation of the project’s results.

Prof. Dr. Norbert M. Graf is Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Clinic for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology, a member of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Saarland in Germany. Prof. Graf is a member of the German Society of Pediatrics, the Austrian Society of Pediatrics, the German Society of Paediatric Oncology and Hematology (GPOH), the German Cancer Society, the Cancer Society of the Saarland, Germany, the German TNM Committee (representative for the German Pediatricians), the European Bone Marrow Transplantation, the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), the Pediatric Society of Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplatation, the European Haematology Association and is an Associate Member of COG (Children´s Oncology Group, USA). He is a member in the Editorial Boards of the Cochrane Childhood Cancer Review Group and Pediatric Blood and Cancer. Prof. Graf is also a member of study groups (GPOH) on Osteosarcoma (COSS 86, COSS 91, COSS 96), Informatics in Pediatric Oncology, Non-Hodgkin-Lymphoma (NHL-BFM 90, NHL-BFM 95), Brain tumor studies (HIT 91, HIT-SKK 92, HIT-Rez 97, HIT-LGG(SIOP)), Nephroblastoma (SIOP 93-01/GPOH and SIOP 2001/GPOH) (chaiman), Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML BFM 98). Prof. Graf is a member of the international study Committees on SIOP Brain Tumor and SIOP Nephroblastoma. He is leading Workpackage 2 and is the quality manager of ACGT (Advancing Clinico Genomic Trials) financed by the EU in FP6. He is also leading Workpackage 9 of ContraCancrum financed by the EU in FP7.
